Small group (or 1:1) sessions designed to focus on specific deficits that are discussed during a family planning session to determine the greatest areas of need. Those skills will be worked on in very small groups with other individuals with the same goals.

Large group sessions are designed to focus on deficits that are common to most adolescents and young adults with special needs. (respecting others people's boundaries (space and time), social media do's and don'ts,) This will be a common gathering place where role playing and social skills can be practiced in a safe learning environment. We all know it's different when it comes from someone other than a parent!
I have a totally different approach to all things Special Education being a SpEd teacher and parent of a special needs child. I can answer questions about the ARD process or something that happened in an ARD. Behavior is always a hot topic and I usually have a few words to say there. I know parents might not always be able to get out to talk, so I offer this service. If I can't help you, it won't cost you.
